The gang’s all here! Directed by the Russo Brothers (Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War), Avengers: Infinity War is the beginning of the climax we’ve all been waiting for ever since Iron Man 1.
Infinity War finally brings Thanos (Josh Brolin) into the mix, attempting to finish assembling the Infinity Guantlet in over to take over the entire galaxy. The heroes we’ve been journeying with since 2008 will band together and fight the ultimate evil.
Anyone else feel like Brolin’s Thanos is already more interesting than Justice League’s Steppenwolf with just 2-3 lines of dialogue? Even though he’s the same CG shitshow on a collect-a-thon, the fact that Marvel has put in 10 years of backstory to all of the characters and this villain shows how much better of a job they are doing with this universe than DC is doing with theirs.
Apparently this will be the most expensive film ever made, with an ridiculous budget of $1 billion. Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4, 2018.
