It was a bit lighter in new trailers dropping, but here’s our roundup for the week of 8/20.
Meet Gary. He just married Samantha, the woman of his dreams. There’s one problem, his stepson is the antichrist. Adam Scott and Evangeline Lilly star in the Netflix horror comedy from the director of Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. Coming to Netflix September 1.
It’s fun to see Adam Scott in another horror-comedy after 2015’s Krampus and its always a pleasure to see Evangeline Lilly showing up in anything really. This movie looks like a fun way to put your Netflix subscription to good use besides just re-watching episodes of The Office. Trailer got you interested? Watch it on Netflix right now.
American Horror Story: Cult
What scares you the most…?
The 2016 election is seems to be the starting point for the newest season of American Horror Story. While AHS has been more ‘miss’ than ‘hit’ lately, I’m as curious as always to see where it goes and how soon it all falls apart. This season seems to be further weaving previous seasons together into its own ‘AHS Universe’ with Cult seeming to lean heavily into American Horror Story Freakshow.
The world is ready for a hero like Larry, but is he ready for us?
After what seems like an entirety for a new season, the trailer for Season 9 of Curb finally hit. Look carefully at everything in the trailer and see if you can spot all the little nods to previous seasons. It’s “pretty, pretty, pretty good”.
