Tom Happ, creator of the very Metroid-like Axiom Verge, has confirmed a release date for the Nintendo Switch version via Twitter:

After years of Metroid-like game droughts, we get not only a real Metroid game in the form of Metroid: Samus Returns on Nintendo 3DS, but also Axiom Verge on Switch about a month later. With Metroid Prime 4 coming in 2018, fans are going to have a lot to keep themselves busy in the coming months.
